To Provide – Essential Chinese Vocabulary

A useful word for reading news, and one that will come in handy when you are out and about is the word for ‘provide’. Using this word you’ll know that something is on offer and you won’t miss out on an opportunity, and when reading the news you’ll know who’s supplying what, and to whom:

提供(提供)

English:to provide; to supply; to offer

  1. Hey Dave,
    I think it would be helpful if you could use actual pinyin, instead of just the pinyin pronunciation of the characters (i.e. if it’s a word, write it together). Newbies – the ones that need the pinyin most – will also have problems understanding where one word ends and the next one starts, so that would help 🙂

    1. Hi Max, Thanks for the suggestion, coincidently I have been thinking about doing that recently, but for some reason just not done it yet. I’ve edited the post above so it should be clearer when looking at the Pinyin how to pronounce the words. Look okay?
