Here’s the belated desktop wallpaper for November. My dad visited Taiwan last month so we spent a lot of time exploring Kaohsiung. If you follow Chinese Hacks on Instagram you might have seen some of the places we went to.
One of the places we visited was a traditional tea house called 耕讀園 (耕读园 Gēngdú yuán) where you can do your own traditional tea ceremony. It’s a sanctuary away from the busy city and a great place to take a break. You can buy tea there, or take your own and just pay for hot water refills. If you ever visit Taiwan, and Kaohsiung, it’s well worth visiting. It’s not easy to find, though, being hidden behind the Science Museum next to a furniture shop you could easily miss it.
