Bone Breaking Discounts

Here’s a great play on words spotted by Peter Wilds in Taichung, Taiwan.

dǎ dào gǔzhé

Bone breaking discount

As Peter mentions, 打折 means to give a discount, 骨折 means a bone fracture or break, and 到 means until. A translation could be ‘discounted until bones break’, or ‘bone breaking discounts’.
