About Chinese Hacks
When we first started Chinese Hacks our aim was to write about tips for how to efficiently and effectively learn Chinese, sort of a “100 best practices” blog. But since then the site has grown and expanded outside this original area. Don’t worry! You can still find study hacks for when you need them, though from now on we’ll be focusing on a wide range of topics.
Our aim now is to bring you real-world Chinese in the form of news, advertising, signs, posters and literally anything that shows how Chinese is actually used – not just what can be found in text books. In addition to this we’re also finding and reviewing software, websites, mobile apps and other interesting blog posts focused on learning Chinese and about Chinese culture.
We’re doing our best to provide regular updates (with an aim to eventually provide daily updates) so there will always be something fresh to read each time you visit, but we are still growing – so forgive us if a few days go by without an update
Learning Chinese is a social activity, so if you have an idea for an article please contact us and let us know. You can also find us on Facebook and Twitter, feel free to friend us or drop us a message anytime!
We also accept guest writers if you fancy putting virtual pen to paper. Comments are highly encouraged, if you have a suggestion about a post, see an error, or if you want to add something we’ve missed, then at the bottom of every post is a comments box where you can leave a message.
Thanks for taking the time to visit, and please check back regularly!
